This Privacy Policy explains how Nostalgius (“Nostalgius,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Nostalgius mobile application and related services (the “Service”). Nostalgius is operated by Ernesto Gomez, based in Texas, United States.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic account information from that provider (such as your name and email address) as permitted by your settings with that provider. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
Content you create
Photos, videos, captions, titles, dates, hashtags, and other content you add to your memories and timeline; tags of other people; comments; direct messages; collections; and similar content.

Device and technical information
Basic technical information necessary to operate the app, such as device type and app version.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and operate the Service, including your timeline, feeds, messaging, and social features
- Create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in
- Enforce our minimum age requirement and our Terms of Service
- Display your content to the audiences you choose through your privacy settings
- Personalize your feeds and recommendations
- Respond to reports, enforce safety rules, and address abuse or violations
- Communicate with you about the Service
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service
4. How your information is shared
With other users: Your content is shared with other users according to the audience and privacy settings you choose (for example, public, followers, mutuals, or best friends). People you tag in a memory, and people you message, will see the relevant content. Your username, display name, and profile are visible to others as part of using a social service.
With service providers: We use trusted third-party providers to run the Service, including:
- Supabase, which provides our database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure
- Apple and Google, which provide sign-in services if you choose to use them
These providers process information on our behalf to provide the Service. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or us.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention and account deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). When you request deletion:
- Your account is scheduled for deletion and deactivated, and you are signed out. Your account is hidden from other users during this period.
- You have 30 days to cancel the deletion by logging back in and choosing to reactivate your account.
- After 30 days, your account is permanently finalized: your memories and personal content are deleted, your profile information is anonymized so it no longer identifies you, and any sign-in tokens are revoked. Content you shared with other people follows the Service’s normal shared-content rules, giving co-owners a limited window to save shared memories before they are removed.
Some information may be retained for a limited time where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as preventing fraud or abuse.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- You can access and update much of your profile information directly in the app.
- You can delete your account and associated personal data using the in-app deletion described above.
- For any other privacy request, contact us at ernestogotu@gmail.com.
California residents and residents of certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above.
7. Children’s privacy
The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We require a date of birth at sign-up and block accounts that do not meet the minimum age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at ernestogotu@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including access controls and encryption in transit, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
